The R2 N shares the same rim size and profile with the R2D N, but with just a little less cup volume and reduced weight. This makes the R2 N extremely responsive. The R2 N plays especially great in the medium to upper bass trombone registers, but also allows the lowest registers to sound and respond the way you need it.
Comparisons
- Not many direct comparisons, feeling/playing shares some elements with some of the available George Roberts mouthpieces or the Schilke Reichenbach
- Comfortable rim profile - though not as wide as our R N
